Welcome to my corner of curiosities. I don't bite...unless provoked. I write thriller and fantasy—but more specifically, my books are dark, twisted, weird in the best way, and bound together by angsty romance and witty humor.
I grew up in the blistering heat of Arizona, which is probably where my dry humor comes from. I've got four adorable demon children (see also: cats) and a husband who balances out my chaotic whimsy and curious nature.
I've been a writer since I was a kid, but things got serious when I downloaded an app called Wattpad on my iPod touch at 12 years old and realized I could create characters and destroy their lives in every imaginable way.
The rest is history.
Taking a peek into my current work, you'll find books stuffed with witty banter, shocking twists, and romantic tension. Angst is my lover and devastation is my side piece. If something I wrote makes you cry and/or throw the book across your room, then don't look at me, look at my writing assistants (see also: cats).
It's their fault.
When I'm not evil-laughing as I write my plot twists, I can be found reading in my recliner with four cats fighting for space on my lap, on my porch drinking tea with four cats fighting for space on my lap, or out exploring new places while thinking about my four cats that should be fighting for space on my lap.
I've been obsessed with Florence + the Machine since Lungs came out, and Taylor Swift and Sleep Token take turns in my number two spot. I'm a yapper and I'm always happy to answer questions or chat about cave-diving disasters or whatever other niche topic I'm knee deep in at the moment.
P.S. Don't look him in the eyes.
